White Linez is an independent house and electronic music project led by producer Alan Bertram.
House sits at the centre, but the music moves through vocal house, UK garage, deeper electronic textures, soulful hooks and occasional rap. Some tracks are built simply to hit hard. Others leave more space for melody, atmosphere and emotion.
There is no fixed formula. What stays consistent is the feeling.
White Linez draws on music across generations without trying to recreate a particular era.
There are traces of 90s house, UK club culture and garage alongside contemporary production, bass weight and cinematic detail. Melody and vocals matter, but so do rhythm, space and the small details that give a track its character.
That can mean a connected ten-track story like Lines in the Night, told across one summer night. It can also mean a track made simply for the moment, the speakers or the dancefloor.
Different voices come into the music depending on what the track needs. Some collaborators appear once, others return. Each one changes the character of the track.
One track can be soulful and intimate, another direct and club-focused, the next somewhere else entirely. The through-line is White Linez, not a single vocal identity.

The music does not have to fit somebody else’s idea of what it should sound like.
Always and Before were Fresh Faves on Fresh On The Net. The rest of the catalogue lives across streaming, independent radio, SoundCloud and Bandcamp.
White Linez works with the stations and presenters who still make room for new music, and puts together playlists that sit emerging independent artists next to the music that shaped the project.
Music first. Always.
